Dear Friends,

The conscientious Japanese citizens are shocked by the queer attachment to holding the Tokyo Olympic Games as planned in spite of the declared coronavirus pandemic. The rumored alternative of postponement confirms the lamentable level of understanding as to the purposely ignored Fukushima radioactive dangers which are present and increasingly menacing.

The fear of natural disasters is animated by frequent earthquakes, gales , torrential rains and high waves. I have sent out a message yesterday  to Prime Minister Abe, pleading for stopping the operations of all the restarted nuclear reactors, reminding him of the possibility of the collapse of Japan as a nation, if another severe nuclear accident should happen, under present critical circumstances.

In the message, I reiterated the need for the retreat from the Tokyo Olympic Games in order to consecrate all efforts to bring the consequences of the Fukushima accident under control.
