Message to Ambassador Roos (2012,3,27)


Dear Ambassador Roos,

I am sending you my letter to Recretary-General Ban Ki-moon
as well as a message from Mr.Matsumura.
I think the current Nuclear Security Summit cannot but show interest to
the issue of Fukushima NO.4 reactor. that could lead to the ultimate catastrophe any moment.
Otherwise, it will be a self denial.
 
 I have attached my letter sent out today to Prime Minister Noda(in Japanese).
I asked him to take the initiative of mobilizing human wisdom on the widest scope to cope with
the Fukushima reactor No.4 problem,fully in confomity with the aim of the proposed"independent assessment team".I have written three relevent ministers to the same effect.
In my letter,I refered to my speech at the IPPNW  World Congress in Basel in 2010 in which I said;
"In this line of thinking, we cannot but be preoccupied by the eventuality of a nuclear calamity. Human wisdom must be mobilized to prevent such ultimate catastrophe from taking place. "
