In addition to the attached messages I have already sent you, please allow me to inform you of the press conference of Prime Minister Suga that took place this evening in which he confirmed the extension of the State of emergency to 7 prefectures to cope with the threatening Covid-19 infections beyond control.

The collapse of the medical system is now a reality.
A member of parliament, and former minister, Yuichiro Hata, has recently passed away before receiving PCR tests. More than 7 thousand Covid-19 patients are made to wait for hospitalization as of today. 

The latest survey of the public opinion shows less than 20 % support the holding of the Tokyo Olympic Games next summer.

Last but not least, the Declaration of the State of Emmergency issued after the Fukushima nuclear accident in 2011 still remains valid !
